Interested in a specific aspect of herbalism?

By self paced learning: SCHS has over 30 units of study that cover all aspects of herbalism that can be undertaken by self-paced distance learning through tapes or CDs supplemented with written material. Although a few will require some face-to-face contact.

Attendance: SCHS offers a range of short courses which run from 1-7 days.  The audience for these courses include consumers, potential herbal growers, health professionals such as pharmacists, nutritionists and medical practitioners, and herbalists wanting to update their skills.  DVDs, tapes and notes of past courses are often available for purchase.

The course is designed for pharmacists, doctors, nurses, herbalists, naturopaths, chiropractors, dieticians and other allied health care professionals who incorporate herbalism into their practice or business. View offerings at SCHS SHOP

A Diploma in Phytotherapy is offered as a professional extension course for currently qualified health care practitioners to obtain an adequate knowledge of herbal medicine to be used as a secondary clinical modality.  The course is available externally and equates to 13 seminar days presented by audio tapes and lecture material.
